Croatia, formerly part of Yugoslavia, declared independence in 1991. Croatia is a European country located in the Balkans, bordering Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Slovenia, Hungary, and Serbia. Croatian Hip Hop is generally made up of a combination of funk-inspired beats, hardcore rhymes, and zany antics.

Bolesna Braca (Myspace page), a duo from Zagreb, fit that description. They dropped their debut album in 2000. Here's their videos for Cica Mica and Lovacke Price. Here's their song Pad Sistema. General Woo (Myspace page) is from Vukovar. His videos include: Tebi Je featuring Bosnian rap star Edo Maajka and MC to the Fullest with Nered featuring El da Sensei, an underground legend from the US. Nered has worked with various Croatian artists on his own, but he usually partners up with Stoka. Nared i Stoka (Myspace page) typically exhibit a hardcore style.
